Microchannel Devices (MCD) announces today a strategic buy‑resell partnership with SWEP, a world‑leading supplier of brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE). Under this agreement, SWEP will purchase and resell MCD’s Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHE), providing its global customer base with direct access to high‑performance, ultra‑compact heat transfer solutions manufactured by MCD.
Both companies share a commitment to energy efficiency, compact system design, and sustainable technological innovation. MCD’s printed circuit technology perfectly complements SWEP’s brazed plate offering, enabling customers to address applications requiring extremely high pressures, wide temperature ranges, or strict footprint constraints.
The combined portfolio enhances the value delivered to system designers and integrators seeking next‑generation heat transfer performance.
Through this collaboration, MCD gains access to SWEP’s international commercial network, established customer relationships, and global market penetration, significantly accelerating the adoption of MCD’s PCHE solutions in key sectors such as hydrogen infrastructure, energy storage, CO₂ systems, chemical processes, oil & gas, and nuclear applications.
For SWEP, the integration of MCD’s PCHE technology broadens the company’s ability to meet demanding technical requirements in development projects characterized by ultra‑high operating pressures, extreme temperatures, or the need for highly compact, robust heat exchangers.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone for Microchannel Devices. By combining our advanced PCHE technology with SWEP’s global reach and well‑established commercial channels, we are opening new opportunities for growth in markets where innovation, reliability, and efficiency are crucial. We believe this collaboration will accelerate our technological and industrial development, while increasing the value we deliver to customers worldwide.” said Alessandro Vaiarelli, MCD President, CEO and Founder.
